HGV Technician Vacancy in Manchester

We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team in Manchester. As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining a variety of tractor and trailer units. Your duties will include routine maintenance, MOT preparation, and scheduled servicing to DVSA standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on all manner of trailers, curtain sided, rigids, double deck, and will be familiar with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Additional accreditations such as IRTEC or EV qualification would be desirable but not essential.

This is a permanent, full-time position with a salary up to £44,000 plus overtime. In addition to the usual pension, sick pay, and holidays, there are long service recognition awards and annual wellbeing bonuses available.

Job Requirements:

  • Fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ or equivalent
  • Additional accreditations such as IRTEC or an EV qualification desirable but not essential
