Job Title: School Attendance Officer - Derbyshire

We are seeking an experienced School Attendance Officer to join our team in Derbyshire. As a key member of our education team, you will be responsible for monitoring whole school attendance, persistent absence, and punctuality. Your duties will include identifying students who require support with their attendance, liaising with senior leadership teams, and raising attendance issues with parents.

Key Responsibilities:

* Monitor whole school attendance, persistent absence, and punctuality
* Identify students who require support with their attendance
* Liaise with senior leadership teams, heads of house, and tutors
* Raise attendance issues with parents
* Meet with students and parents to support attendance improvement

Requirements:

* Previous experience as an Attendance Officer in schools or within school administration
* Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to pay for a new one
