About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Orthopaedic Surgeon Fellow to join our team at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in Hand and Wrist surgery and be able to contribute to the development of our Upper Limb Service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in research and quality improvement projects within the unit, including prospective and retrospective research.
  • Contribute to the development of our Upper Limb Service, including the treatment of elective and trauma cases.
  • Take part in the on-call rota at middle grade level, including nights and weekends.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:

  • Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice.
  • FRCS or peri- or post-CCT in Orthopaedic surgery.
  • Demonstration of specialist training in Orthopaedic surgery.

Desirable qualifications and experience include:

  • Qualification or experience in Hand Surgery.
  • Hand diploma.
  • Previous fellowship.
