Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Pets at Home Group Plc. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the store, including recruitment, stock control, and store standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be a vital member of the store management team.
  • Take full responsibility for the store in the absence of the Deputy or Store Manager.
  • Involved in everything of the store's running, including recruitment, stock control, and store standards.
  • Lead from the front with a hands-on approach, inspiring your team, injecting fun into the workplace, and creating a truly fantastic place to shop and work.

About You:

  • Experienced in working within the retail sector with a minimum of 6 months hands-on supervisory/management experience.
  • Flexible, with the ability to work a flexible shift pattern across 7 days a week.
  • Passionate for retail and has a proven track record of delivering high standards and great results.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills to engage and inspire your team.
