At the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, we are seeking an exceptional Strategic Partnerships Director to join our team. This senior leadership role will play a vital part in fostering and nurturing productive relationships with regional partners, including commercial and non-commercial study teams/sponsors, research site delivery personnel, and senior research leadership within Delivery Organisations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Foster and develop high-quality relationships with regional settings and specialty leads, commercial and non-commercial sponsors, and research delivery organisations to support effective research delivery.
  • Lead a dedicated team in providing these services, ensuring coordination with other services/functions within the regional network and across the national network.
  • Collaborate closely with Regional Specialty and Setting Leads to support the delivery of regional and national projects.

This role requires regional travel from an agreed base and some national travel. As a key member of our team, you will be joining an exceptional group working together to help our patients stay healthy when they need it most.

We deliver a wide range of emergency, specialist, and general medical services through North Devon District Hospital and the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital (Wonford). Person Specification

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A proven track record of developing and maintaining high-quality relationships with regional partners.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with experience in managing a team.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
  • A deep understanding of the healthcare sector and its challenges.

We offer a competitive salary package, including an estimated £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
