Rehabilitation Psychology Expert

We are seeking an experienced Senior Forensic Psychologist to join our Therapeutic Community at HMP Dovegate, Staffordshire/Derbyshire border. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting and driving our rehabilitation efforts.

• To work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver evidence-based interventions that reduce re-offending rates
• To conduct thorough assessments and risk evaluations to inform treatment plans
• To provide expert supervision and training to junior staff members
• To maintain accurate records and contribute to the development of effective policies and procedures

1. Chartered status with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and registration as a Forensic Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
2. Significant experience in secure settings, working with offenders with complex needs
3. Strong clinical formulation, risk assessment, and therapeutic intervention skills
4. Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and manage staff
5. Expertise in report writing and presenting evidence in formal settings
6. Up-to-date knowledge of forensic psychology research, particularly in offender rehabilitation and therapeutic communities
