Solar PV Field Engineer Role

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Solar PV Field Engineer to join our team at Veritas Partners. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our solar PV systems across the UK.


About the Role:

This is a field-based role that requires a well-organised and self-motivated individual with a good working knowledge of PV systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of health and safety legislation and be working towards a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce monthly performance reports
  • Appoint sub-contractors
  • Customer Data Management
  • Implementation and management of remote monitoring equipment
  • Have a good understanding of health and safety legislation - minimum requirement working towards NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
  • Working experience of established manufacturer's equipment
  • Experienced in using and manipulating data from inverter reporting software
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in solar PV installation - commercial
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Testing
  • Hold a minimum of Blue CSCS Skilled Worker status or relevant alternative
  • Competent in use of Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
