About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Unit Manager to lead our team at Oulton Park care home. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for planning, managing and monitoring the delivery of nursing care that meets the needs of our residents. Your expertise will enable you to develop person-centred care plans that make a real difference to their day-to-day lives.

Your Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage rotas to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Recruit, train and mentor staff to achieve high standards of care
  • Build relationships with local regulators and social services to ensure compliance and quality
  • Implement clinical governance practices to promote excellence in care delivery

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration. You should have experience in producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments, as well as knowledge of recent clinical practices and regulatory frameworks.

Requirements

  • Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification
  • Current NMC registration
  • Experience in leadership or management roles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
