Litigation Counsel

We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Counsel to join our team in Surrey. As a key member of our litigation department, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of high-value commercial litigation cases, including shareholder disputes, breach of contract claims, and professional negligence cases.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial litigation, with a strong background in working with High Court proceedings. They will also need to be proficient in electronic disclosure and able to manage client expectations effectively. Additionally, they should be able to demonstrate strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to drive successful outcomes for clients.
As a Litigation Counsel, you will work closely with the Department Head and other team members to achieve successful outcomes. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to drive successful outcomes for clients, while maintaining high standards in terms of accuracy and quality. You will also have the opportunity to work with the Property Litigation team on party wall and basement disputes, 1954 Act claims, and dilapidation claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of high-value commercial litigation cases
- Work closely with the Department Head and other team members to achieve successful outcomes
- Demonstrate expertise in commercial litigation, including shareholder disputes, breach of contract claims, and professional negligence cases
- Develop and implement effective strategies to drive successful outcomes for clients
- Maintain high standards in terms of accuracy and quality
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in commercial litigation, with a strong background in working with High Court proceedings
- Proficient in electronic disclosure and able to manage client expectations effectively
- Demonstrable strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work as part of a team to achieve successful outcomes
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality results
Salary: £120,000 - £180,000 per annum
