We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to support the Financial Controller of a 50 million turnover business. As Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in managing the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy across a high-volume purchase and sales ledger function. Your responsibilities will include overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and VAT compliance, as well as managing a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Developing and maintaining internal control mechanisms that minimize financial risk.
  • Ensure accuracy of high-volume purchase and sales ledger function
  • Analysing and reporting of KPI's.
  • Regular cashflow forecasting
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals.
  • Developing relationships with external contacts such as auditors, solicitors, banks and HMRC.

Requirements:

  • Strong Excel skills
  • ERP Experience
  • Experience managing a team
  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) (Ideal)
