About the Role

We're seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support to our residents. You'll supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants, working closely with the Deputy General Manager to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and motivate a team of Care Assistants to deliver exceptional care and support
  • Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans, and care reviews
  • Contribute to creating a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment for our residents
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues

About You:

  • NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care
  • Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly
  • Warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed to delivering individualised care and support
