Job Opportunity: STEM Tutor

About the Role

Ribbons & Reeves, a leading education recruitment agency, is seeking a highly motivated and qualified STEM Tutor to join our team. As a STEM Tutor, you will be responsible for mentoring and tutoring 11-18-year-old students in a secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mentor and tutor students in small intervention groups and one-on-one sessions
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize student learning potential, increase attainment, and boost motivation and self-esteem
  • Identify and address knowledge gaps in students

Requirements

  • First-Class or 2:1 classification in a STEM-related degree subject (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Maths)
  • Excellent A-Levels and GCSE grades
  • Ambition to qualify as a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Maths Teacher in the future
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
