About the Job

Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust is a national centre of excellence in the provision of specialist children's healthcare. As a Specialist Rotational Pharmacist, you will play a key role in our Pharmacy team, contributing to the delivery of aseptic, QA, and Clinical Trial services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the day-to-day delivery of aseptic, QA, and Clinical Trial services in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice, Good Clinical Practice, and nationally agreed standards.
  • Support the preparation and release of cytotoxic, CIVAS, and PN products, the Quality Assurance programme for manufacturing, and Clinical Trial service.
  • Train and support others rotating through the department.

Person Specification

  • Professional registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • MPharm or equivalent, or BPharm/BSc Hons for those qualified before 2002.
  • Evidence portfolio to demonstrate mandatory CPD to maintain fitness to practice.
  • Previous experience of working in a manufacturing unit, clinical trials, and quality assurance.
