Stress Engineer

AWE is currently seeking highly skilled Stress Engineers to join their Engineering Analysis Team. The team is responsible for providing modeling and simulation expertise to AWE, working on challenging projects across the weapon's life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform complex structural analysis using finite element analysis (FEA) tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, and LS-DYNA.
- Develop and implement novel engineering simulation techniques.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior analysts.
- Consult with customers to understand their modeling and simulation requirements.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong motivation and enthusiasm to work in highly technical and challenging engineering environments.
- Experience with FEA tools and pre-processors such as Hypermesh, ANSYS Mechanical, and Abaqus/CAE.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to write reports and present findings.
