**About Us**
Marshalls plc is a leading hard landscaping, building and roofing products supplier in the UK, with a rich history dating back to the 1890s. We have supplied some of the country's most prestigious landmarks and continue to be a major player in the industry.
As part of our Domestic Sales team, we are seeking an Area Sales Manager to develop relationships with key merchants, domestic patio & driveway installers, and relevant house builders within the area. This is a home-based role, requiring a strong ability to work independently while maintaining excellent communication skills.
**Job Summary**
The successful candidate will have full responsibility for their sales and profitability budget, calling on their commercial drive and passion to succeed. They will collaborate with other business functions and work closely with the commercial sales team and internal sales developers to secure new business opportunities.
Key responsibilities include developing long-term relationships with customers and colleagues, managing sales budgets, and identifying new business opportunities through market trends and competitor activity.
**Requirements**
We are looking for a self-motivated, dynamic, and driven individual with at least 12 months of successful track record in sales, including major project and account management. The ideal candidate will have excellent relationship management skills, be confident working independently, and possess a presentable, credible, and reliable personality.
