SEN Support Worker

Our client, a leading academy trust in London, is seeking an experienced and committed SEN Support Worker to join their team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with individuals with Special needs and be able to provide support to pupils both inside and outside of the classroom.
About the Role:
The Supply Register is currently looking for experienced SEND TAs to work in their school in a mix of day-to-day cover, short-term and long-term roles. Experience of working with SEN is mandatory for these roles. As an SEN Support Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring your pupil/pupils are engaged in lessons and completing their work as necessary. You will also assist the class teacher in managing pupils' behaviour and setting up activities and displays when needed.
Requirements:
Previous experience in an education or childcare role is essential. Previous experience working with individuals with Special needs is essential. You must hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to process one. A minimum of 2 references covering the last 2 years of employment is required.
