Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Analysis Engineer - Completions Specialist to join our team at Orion Group. As a key member of our completions and workover team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of complex well completion and workover projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including tubing stress analysis, torque and drag modeling, and well completion documentation.
  2. Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to offshore rig teams, including conducting risk assessments, and developing detailed well/project Basis of Design documents.
  3. Collaboration and Communication: Act as a single point of contact for offshore rig teams, and facilitate communication between teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  4. Cost Management: Support daily cost tracking, and end of well cost and tangible reconciliation activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  5. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with company, partner, and regulatory requirements, including environmental and other regulatory submissions.
  6. Best Practices: Implement company and/or industry best practices in all phases of the completion/workover/abandonment project to optimize well integrity, productivity, and value.
  7. Well Testing and Flowback: Plan, design, and execute deepwater completion and well testing/flowback operations.
  8. Leadership and Supervision: Indirectly supervise offshore completion supervisors, and provide guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • Proven planning, management, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient with WellCat, WellPlan, and standard Microsoft software packages.
  • Offshore Medical certification.
