Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team at the Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre in Bristol. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with acquired or traumatic brain injuries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate care plans and utilise appropriate assessments in collaboration with other health professionals.
  • Assess and manage risks identified through patient/resident assessments, working closely with other health professionals to modify care plans as necessary.
  • Act as the primary nurse for inpatient stays, ensuring that clinical practice is evidence-based and consistent with relevant guidelines and organisational policies.
  • Undertake clinical supervision to further develop competence and clinical practice, and act as a mentor/preceptor to students/support workers or healthcare assistants as appropriate.
  • Liaise effectively with all stakeholders involved in the care process, including carers and relatives, to provide an effective, seamless, and integrated service to patients/residents.

Requirements

  • A current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (RN), Mental Health Nurse (RMN), or Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD).
  • A legal right to work in the UK.
