About the Role

Fresh Freight Group is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Multidrop Driver to join their team at their Gateshead depot. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role and be able to support the pallet network division on local deliveries and collections in the NE area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use.
  • Arrive at jobs on time and inform the traffic office of any issues.
  • Follow all company procedures, customer procedures, and the Highway Code.
  • Maintain all health and safety standards.
  • Complete all deliveries and collections as manifested.
  • Comply with all EU tachograph and WTD regulations.
  • Keep the vehicle clean and tidy.
  • Pallet truck/tail lift deliveries required.
Requirements
  • Hold a full LGV C (Class 2) licence for a minimum of two years.
  • Have a valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC)/Driver CPC.
  • Own a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Good communication skills and geographical knowledge.
