Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Advisor to join our team at Winemark. As a Sales Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional level of customer service at all times, and identifying accurately the needs of internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in customer relations by maintaining excellent customer service at all times.
  • Identify selling opportunities and act on these.
  • Assume responsibility for housekeeping standards both inside and outside the store according to Company standards.
  • Ensure that stock is controlled and merchandised to Company standards at all times.
  • Assist with promotional set up.
  • Ensure that the premises are safe and secure at all times.
  • Comply with the Company regulations with regard to cash handling and administration.
  • Comply with all health and safety information and to ensure compliance with all licensing and trading standards legislation.

Requirements

  • Maths and English GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent.
  • Three months previous experience in a retail environment.
  • Communication Skills – a proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Customer focused – maintains a professional level of customer service at all times.
  • Ability to actively sell to customers.
  • Personal Drive and a pleasant, positive and enthusiastic, “can do” attitude, demonstrating an appropriate level of motivation.
  • Good standard of dress and appearance – clean and well groomed.
  • A good team player with the ability to work in a team environment.
