About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for optimising architecture solutions to meet schedule, scope, requirement, strategic objectives, cost, and supportability. They will influence at all levels from Directors to Subject Matter Experts, leading and coordinating with other Architects. This includes designing and implementing enterprise-level solutions using SIEMENS CAD & PLM software, integrating solutions into existing CAM, MES, and ERP systems to support various processes. Additionally, they will evaluate and select appropriate technologies and vendors for the Submarine programme, work closely with technology and software partners to resolve complex technical issues, develop and maintain an enterprise architecture framework that aligns business demands with industry best practices, and manage governance processes to ensure solutions meet architecture and design quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimise architecture solutions to meet schedule, scope, requirement, strategic objectives, cost, and supportability.
  • Influence at all levels from Directors to Subject Matter Experts; lead and coordinate with other Architects.
  • Design and implement enterprise-level solutions using SIEMENS CAD & PLM software.
  • Integrate solutions into existing CAM, MES, and ERP systems to support various processes.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and vendors for the Submarine programme.
  • Work closely with technology and software partners to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain an enterprise architecture framework that aligns business demands with industry best practices.
  • Manage governance processes to ensure solutions meet architecture and design quality standards.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need experience as a CAD and PLM Consultant/Architect with a broad understanding of designing and implementing solutions for large engineering programmes. Proficiency in using architecture repository tools such as Enterprise Architect and architecture modelling frameworks is also essential. Excellent communication skills at all levels, including business change communication events, are required. We are looking for someone who can bring strong technical expertise and excellent interpersonal skills to our team.

Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence supporting agile delivery methodologies or similar collaboration technologies.
  • Knowledge of SAP and PE&O product suites or similar for large manufacturing projects.
