Job Title: Safety Advisor - Electrical Projects

Design Build Search is seeking a highly skilled Safety Advisor to join our team on a high-profile commercial construction project in Northampton. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees and site staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and implement health and safety procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with the safety team to promote a positive safety culture and proactive approach to health and safety
  • Monitor and report on site accidents and incidents, and implement measures to prevent reoccurrence
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and site staff on health and safety procedures and protocols
Requirements:
  • Degree-qualified in a relevant field, such as safety or a related discipline
  • Previous experience in construction project management, with a focus on health and safety
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and site staff
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to understand the business implications of health and safety
  • IT literate and able to use software applications to support health and safety management
