Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Engineer to join our NTS Project and Programme Management team. In this role, you'll support multiple nuclear industry projects, from feasibility through to delivery, across sectors including Decommissioning, Defence, and Nuclear New Build. Your primary responsibilities will be managing project controls across cost, scheduling, risk, and change control.

This role is ideal for a proactive professional with a strong background in project controls, planning, P6, cost, reporting, Nuclear / NDA experience, and 10+ years' experience. You will lead project controls processes, including cost estimating, schedule management, and risk analysis, to ensure successful project delivery. This will involve developing, maintaining, and updating project schedules (using Primavera P6) and providing earned value and variance analysis for accurate reporting. You will also manage and communicate project cost controls, including budget forecasting, cost tracking, and variance explanations. Additionally, you will implement risk management practices, maintaining a comprehensive risk register, performing risk analysis, and integrating mitigation strategies. Furthermore, you will facilitate effective change control processes, evaluating project impacts and implementing changes with the project team. You will provide clear and actionable reporting to stakeholders and lead project progress discussions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
You must have 10+ years of experience in project controls within regulated, technical industries. Strong analytical and organizational skills, with experience in budget and data analysis, are essential for this role.
