Join QED Legal as a Corporate Solicitor

We are seeking an experienced Commercial and Corporate fee earner to work within an award-winning team at QED Legal. Our firm is a highly regarded legal 500 firm with offices across the South coast, and we are looking for a talented individual to contribute to our success.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be pivotal in mergers and acquisitions, bringing experience of collaborating with partners and senior solicitors on complex transactions. You will support asset purchase and sale transactions, drafting relevant documents and facilitating progress throughout the deal lifecycle. You will also assist with business disposals by responding to due diligence requests and preparing necessary documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage both completion and post-completion matters, and engage in a wide range of corporate legal work, including drafting articles of association and shareholders' agreements.
  • Oversee the due diligence process for clients, reviewing share purchase agreements, drafting disclosure letters, and preparing related documents.
  • Support asset purchase and sale transactions, drafting relevant documents and facilitating progress throughout the deal lifecycle.
  • Assist with business disposals by responding to due diligence requests and preparing necessary documentation.
