The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our Investment Product and Fund Strategies (IPFS) group as a Fund Product Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the creation, oversight, and maintenance of regulatory documentation for our Wellington Management Fund's Global Fund businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the coordination efforts around the creation, oversight, and maintenance of regulatory documentation for the WMF Global business.
  • Work closely with the EMEA Funds Legal team and other Fund Product team members to ensure consistency and quality across various fund offering documents.
  • Establish a control and oversight process to identify and maintain consistent and improved client-friendly outcomes in our disclosure and formal communication.
  • Coordinate periodic internal communication summarizing upcoming changes and implementation items to the various stakeholder groups impacted by a new fund and fund changes.
Other Projects/Responsibilities
  • Provide general fund expertise and act as a subject matter expert to internal stakeholders for client-specific queries.
  • Lead or assist with ad-hoc Fund Product projects, including annual fee and prospectus review exercises, seed capital and share class reviews, and commercial and fiduciary reviews of the fund range.
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience working within asset management or a related industry.
  • Hands-on experience with legal or regulatory documents and content, with direct experience working in a product/legal role.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex information.
  • Willingness to take initiative, demonstrate accountability and ownership, and have good judgment about when to seek the wider audience first.
