Job Overview

Crane Maintenance Specialist - Mobile

Randstad Tech IT is currently seeking a skilled Crane Maintenance Specialist to join our team in a mobile crane breakdown and maintenance company based in the UK.

This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm, with a competitive salary between £37,000 - £42,000 per annum, dependent on experience. Overtime is paid at 1.5x on weekdays & Saturdays and 2x on Sundays & after 10pm on weekdays.

The Role

The specialist will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, maintenance, and repairs on lifting equipment, cranes, and heavy machinery for clients across the UK. This will involve:

  • Ensuring all equipment is in good working condition and compliant with LOLER regulations
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication and cleaning
  • Identifying and addressing any defects or issues
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their specific needs and requirements

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in electrical engineering and/or experience in lifting equipment, cranes, and heavy machinery
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of LOLER regulations and certifications in crane operation and safety
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
