About the Role

As a Care Assistant at Barchester Healthcare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. You will support our residents with a range of needs, including advanced or young onset dementia, multiple sclerosis, neuro rehab, and Huntington's disease. Your compassion and empathy will shine through as you assist with daily living, provide support and companionship, and share great moments and memories with our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Provide support and companionship to residents, promoting their independence and well-being
• Follow care plans and ensure that each resident receives the highest standard of care
• Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver person-centered care
• Maintain accurate records and reports as required

About You

To join our team as a Care Assistant, you will need to have some experience of caring for older people, a can-do approach, and excellent communication skills. You will be passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a positive impact on the lives of our residents.
