Job Title: Nurse - Crisis Residential Unit

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the Glasgow Alcohol and Drug Crisis Service. As a Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing individualized support to adults with a wide range of needs, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.

About the Role:

As a Nurse in our Crisis Residential Unit, you will work closely with individuals who are experiencing a crisis due to alcohol or other drug use. Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality care, support, and guidance to help them achieve their personal outcomes and improve their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to adults with complex needs, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews to ensure the individual's needs are being met.
  • Provide education and guidance on harm reduction approaches, substance abuse treatment, and recovery strategies.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to ensure seamless care coordination and support.
