Residential Conveyancer Opportunity

Simpson Judge Ltd is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join our dynamic team in St Helens, Liverpool. As a key member of our conveyancing department, you will play a crucial role in managing residential property transactions from initial instruction through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, transfers of equity, and remortgages.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and due diligence, including property searches and title investigations.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, leases, and transfer deeds.
  • Liaise with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and mortgage lenders to ensure smooth communication throughout the transaction process.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of residential conveyancing.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records and case management systems.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of departmental processes and client service.
Requirements:
  • A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with a minimum of 2 years' experience in residential conveyancing.
  • Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving.
