About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced SEND teaching assistant to provide specialist support to students with autism and behavioral difficulties in a primary school environment.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of SEND policies and procedures, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with children and young people and is committed to providing high-quality support.

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with at least six months of experience in UK schools.
  • A proactive and child-centered approach.
  • Previous SEND experience or care work experience.
  • A consistent and firm approach to challenging behavior.
  • The ability to transport students for offsite activities.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
