Maintenance and Repair Technician

As a Maintenance and Repair Technician at Encocam Ltd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities in Huntingdon. Your primary responsibility will be to provide a comprehensive building maintenance service across our sites and company houses.
Key Duties- Perform maintenance and repairs work as directed by the Project & Maintenance Co-ordinator.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver a high-quality service.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of health and safety procedures.
- Assist with the relocation and installation of furniture and fixtures as needed.
- Work effectively within a dynamic maintenance team.
- Account for and manage gardening, plants, equipment, tools, and parts.
- Conduct regular checks, repairs, and maintenance on building systems, equipment, and grounds.
- Participate in the upkeep of interior spaces through painting and decorating.
- Ensure timely communication with the Project & Maintenance Co-ordinator regarding maintenance/repairs.
- Implement safe and efficient practices when moving or relocating supplies and equipment.
- Demonstrate proficiency in operating high-pressure jetting machines, generators, and portable tools.
- Promote a professional, quality service at all times.
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong technical skills, including ability to operate various tools and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptability and flexibility to meet changing priorities.
This role involves working on various sites and company houses in Huntingdon, with occasional overnight stays if necessary.
