Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive pricing, and emerging opportunities.
  • Collaborate with carriers to negotiate transportation rates and analyze trends and benchmarks.
  • Perform thorough cost analysis for shipping routes, considering factors such as fuel costs and customs fees.
  • Develop pricing strategies aligned with company goals and work closely with sales teams to implement them.
  • Prepare accurate freight quotes, ensuring compliance with pricing agreements.
  • Manage contracts with carriers, periodically reviewing and renegotiating for optimization.
  • Analyze shipping data to inform pricing decisions and communicate pricing information effectively to internal teams and external customers.
  • Address customer inquiries, finding solutions that meet both customer needs and company objectives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align pricing strategies with overall business goals.
  • Provide support to sales teams in presenting and explaining pricing structures to customers.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations and ensure pricing practices adhere to legal standards.
  • Evaluate pricing processes regularly, implementing changes for efficiency and competitiveness.
Requirements
  • Experience in handling multiple modes of freight (Air, Ocean & Road).
  • Proficiency in using various systems such as CDS, MultiFreight, Cargowise, etc.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the freight industry.
