Teaching Assistant (Secondary Schools) - Bordon

Are you passionate about education and committed to supporting students in achieving their potential? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA) to work with secondary school students in Bordon across Key Stage 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support to students across a range of ages and abilities, ensuring they can fully engage with the curriculum.
  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons, particularly in core subjects, by offering additional support to students.
  • Help manage classroom behavior to foster a productive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Offer individualized assistance to students who may require extra help with specific tasks or concepts.
  • Contribute to the overall development of students, helping them grow academically and socially.
Requirements:
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to explain concepts clearly and provide support where needed.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to work with students of varying abilities and adjust your approach to their learning styles.
  • Enthusiasm for Education: Whether you're a recent graduate or an aspiring teacher, your passion for helping students succeed is key.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Work effectively with teachers and staff to ensure students receive the support they need.
What We Offer:
  • Flexible Working Hours: Enjoy the balance of part-time work, with 30 hours per week from 8:30 to 15:00, Monday to Friday, during term time only (38 weeks).
