We are seeking a skilled and caring Nursery Assistant to join our team at Spencers Wood Day Nursery, part of Grandir UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the needs of our children and contributing to their growth and development.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with our experienced practitioners to deliver high-quality childcare and education. You will be responsible for supervising and supporting children at all times, preparing and supervising activities, and contributing to maintaining a welcoming environment for the children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support children at all times.
  • Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of level 3 qualified practitioners.
  • Contribute to maintaining an attractive and welcoming environment for the children.
  • Read, understand, and implement all company policies, procedures, and operational practices.
  • Maintain a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, visitors, and work colleagues.
  • Attend regular staff meetings, planning meetings, and undertake training as required.
