Job Summary

Pertemps is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Goods In/Out Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our Shipping, Receiving & Stores team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely delivery of customer orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and verify inbound deliveries, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Final inspect and check outbound deliveries, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Stock Control: Conduct regular stock audits and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Picking and Packing: Select and package goods for shipment, ensuring efficient and accurate processing.
  • Forklift Operations: Safely operate a forklift truck, with training provided.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Create and manage shipment documents, including customs clearance and export paperwork.
  • Communication: Liaise with couriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Soft Skills: Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a keen sense of self-motivation and a willingness to learn.
