Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic General Operative to join our team at Sodexo in Royston. As a key member of our corporate site, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless operations and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide porterage services, including moving furniture, disposing of furniture, and delivering essential items to various locations on site.
  • Escort contractors around the site, ensuring their safety and compliance with site regulations.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of customer service, adhering to our company's values and principles.
  • Contribute to a safe working environment by reporting any health and safety concerns and promoting best practices.
  • Operate a Forklift Truck, following all necessary safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
  • A clean driving license, held for over 2 years, with a minimum age of 25 for insurance purposes.
  • Willingness to undergo training to operate a Forklift Truck.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, but excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • A proactive and diligent attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Package Details
  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 6am to 2pm.
  • Tuesday & Thursday: 7am to 3pm.
  • 40 hours per week.
