Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

As a key member of our Finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes across The Bicester Collection. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and provide financial insights that drive strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the roll-out of personnel cost forecasts and budgets during the forecast process.
  • Business partnering with our Village teams to facilitate accurate forecasting of personnel costs for the Villages and departments.
  • Provide analytical support following forecasts and budgets to local teams and Directors to aid with business decisions.
  • Review monthly payroll files and identify errors to be corrected to drive accuracy.
  • Prepare monthly personnel cost analysis vs. forecast, identifying errors.
  • Ensure budget holders and managers have an awareness of financial performance requirements, including the need for budgetary control, and provide financial awareness training where necessary.
  • Assist with overall management of forecast and budget processes.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of Finance planning system and assist with system development and enhancements when necessary.

Requirements

  • Part or recently qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
  • Previous exposure to a pan-European/international business is highly desirable.
  • Must be able to demonstrate strong Excel skills and highly system literate.
  • Knowledge of Oracle and particularly PBCS is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and proactive individual with the ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment, often with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to deal with individuals in the organisation at all levels.
