About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Mirus Aircraft Seating. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the development, testing, and continuous improvement of commercial aerospace products and manufacturing assembly processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure production readiness of new product development programs, leading readiness reviews and planning activities to support.
  • Develop and implement lean manufacturing cells to ensure production viability on launch.
  • Lead DFM/A, APQP, and project execution throughout NPD/I Process.
  • Drive continuous improvement throughout the production process to optimize performance using Lean Sigma and APQP methodologies.
  • Specify new equipment, processes, and methods for investment or incorporation in line with business objectives.
  • Reduce operational risk using structured tools and techniques.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring your expertise in manufacturing engineering, a passion for innovation, problem-solving abilities, and a drive for operational excellence. You will have experience working in a highly regulated industry, such as Automotive or Aerospace OEM, and be familiar with lean manufacturing principles.

You will also have experience in facilitating and delivering industrial risk management tools, such as APQP and FMEA, and be able to communicate effectively with audiences of different levels. A high level of personal accountability and a strong bias for action are essential for this role.
