We are seeking a skilled Category Manager to join our team at The Advocate Group. This dynamic leader will be responsible for driving category growth and optimal product offerings for a leading food company.

The Role

We are looking for a candidate who can make their mark and achieve category growth and optimal product offerings. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing day-to-day relationships with customers to unlock new opportunities
  • Delivering recommendations for optimal distribution, range, space, and merchandising layouts for the category
  • Analysing, reviewing and validating key commercial activities related to the customer's category
  • Managing own brand innovation ranges and identifying customer-specific opportunities
  • Supporting budgeting, tracking, and reporting processes to ensure financial success
  • Maximising ROI and delivering KPIs for site-based business teams
  • Driving best-in-class ways of working within the commercial team
About You

We are looking for a strong background in Category Management, particularly within FMCG, with a solid understanding of the UK retail landscape. Exceptional relationship-building skills and the ability to drive commercial growth are essential for this role.
