About the Role:

The VCS Liaison Officer will play a crucial role in enhancing the relationship between Lambeth Council and the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS). This exciting opportunity will enable you to make a positive impact on the Borough by developing and maintaining strong partnerships with VCS organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Capture and monitor data related to the social value outcomes from the VCS portfolio.
  2. Develop technical property skills and knowledge by supporting the sector with property advice, alongside the Council's managing agents.
  3. Collaborate with the VCS to identify opportunities for growth and development.

About Us:

Lambeth Council is committed to supporting a sustainable and vibrant third sector. We have recently developed a new Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) Asset Strategy, which aims to improve liaison between the Council and VCS tenants.

About the Team:

The Valuation and Strategic Assets (VASA) team is part of the wider Climate and Inclusive Growth directorate. The team is focused on the strategic utilization of land and assets, and the Council's assets and properties are critical to service delivery across health, children's services, leisure, libraries, and schools.
