We are on a mission to revolutionize the quality of education provided to young people with Special Education Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND), as well as other needs such as Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD).

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN/SEND Tutor to join our team at Targeted Provision Ltd. As a SEN/SEND Tutor, you will provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs referred to us by local authorities and schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and holistic sessions that meet the needs of each young person
  • Provide individualized support to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on the young person's progress
Requirements
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status/QTS/QTLS)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Experience, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
  • Two professional references
