Job Title: Advanced Practitioner Community Mental Health

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our Community Mental Health Team in Salford, Greater Manchester. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing leadership and support in social work and social care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide oversight and direction for social work practice within the CMHT and the broader division.
  • Maintain a reduced CPA caseload to allow for focused supervision and consultation on complex cases.
  • Take the lead on adult and child safeguarding initiatives, chairing planning meetings and collaborating with partner agencies.
  • Promote well-being and advocate for the independence and well-being of adults of working age, facilitating social inclusion and community engagement.
  • Assist the Team Manager in ensuring high standards of practice and effective service delivery.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within a mental health setting.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory capacity is preferred.
  • AMHP qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Educational background: Diploma or Degree in Social Work.
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
