Duties and Responsibilities:
- Take a proactive role in managing and collecting debts from company debtors, ensuring customers pay to terms.
- Update and maintain the collection management tool, liaising with the Group credit control department.
- Provide aged debt reports and various analysis reports to support business decision-making.
- Liaise with all departments to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Obtain credit reports and provide initial assessments of credit applications to support new account openings.
- Manage customer master data and perform administrative tasks related to accounts receivable.
- Assist in ad-hoc projects and tasks as required by the business, in accounts receivable.
Person Specification:
- Develop strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate initiative.
- Have experience in a similar role or environment.
- Have experience working with overseas customers and communicating effectively.
- Be able to work to tight deadlines and manage competing demands.
- Demonstrate integrity and a commitment to working to a high standard.
- Be motivated to succeed and continuously improve.
- Understand the impact of the role on other departments and the surrounding business.
This is a full-time permanent position on a hybrid basis. The salary is up to £28k per annum, depending on experience.
