Job Opportunity

White Raven Resourcing Ltd is acting as a recruitment agency for a permanent Electrical Technician position. Our client is a world leader in process solutions for powder and particle processing technology and blown film technology. They are seeking a motivated and professional Electrical Technician to join their team.

Main Responsibilities

Key Tasks

  • Design and manufacture control panels according to manufacturing drawings.
  • Install electrical equipment and instrumentation within Hosokawa manufactured equipment and connect it to main control panels or junction boxes.
  • Test completed electrical installations before in-house function testing.
  • Identify and rectify faults on manufactured plant equipment.
  • Perform planned and reactive building maintenance.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate should be an apprentice-trained technician with a formal qualification in electrical engineering.
  • Hold a 17th or 18th Edition qualification.
  • Have City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 or 2 or NVQ Level 3 equivalent.
  • Inspection and testing City & Guilds 2391, 2391-52 or equivalent is preferred.
  • The candidate must have their own tools.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
  • Strong fault-finding abilities with PLCs, inverters, and motors are an advantage.

Personal Characteristics

  • The candidate should be able to work well and cooperate with others in a team.
  • Good time management and organisational skills are required.

Benefits


A competitive base salary of £36-£40k (plus overtime) with an additional overnight rate bonus. A 38-hour week over four days, Monday to Thursday. 20 days' holiday increasing to 21.5 days after five years' service, plus statutory bank holidays. Requirements
