Autograph Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join their team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining client bookkeeping records, preparing VAT returns, and assisting with the preparation of accounts and tax returns.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. They will also be proficient in accounting software and have a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.

A competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum is being offered for this role, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance of client bookkeeping records
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Assistance with the preparation of accounts and tax returns
  • Collaboration on internal and client projects
  • Implementation and improvement of accounting systems
Requirements:
  • Part or fully qualified ACCA, AAT or ACA
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
