Oversight Affairs Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Oversight Affairs Officer to join our team at Swift. As a key member of our Legal and Governance department, you will be responsible for providing independent and specialist support to internal and external customers on legal and governance services and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal and governance support to internal and external customers, ensuring compliance with corporate governance, oversight requirements, and laws and regulations.
- Execute supporting legal and governance activities, including public affairs, compliance, regulatory affairs, board and oversight matters.
- Coordinate and control the maintenance of Legal department documentation and expertise.
- Support less experienced colleagues and act as a backup.
- Demonstrate awareness of policies, processes, and procedures, and provide requirements for improvements where necessary.
- Develop and maintain contacts with internal and external stakeholders to get a sound understanding of company needs and procedures.
- Deliver and implement projects in your area of responsibility within defined budgets and deadlines.
- Identify and evaluate the impact of risks, propose mitigations and controls, and participate in risk assessments as part of the Legal & Compliance representation.
