About the Role:
QA Higher Education (QA HE) is seeking a seasoned Chief Operating Officer (COO) to drive transformation and growth across its operations. As a key member of the executive team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic plans to enhance student and staff experiences. With a strong background in leadership and operational excellence, you will oversee key portfolios including estates, student services, compliance, and registry, ensuring seamless delivery of services that meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive operational excellence and growth
- Lead key operational portfolios, including estates, student services, compliance, and registry
- Collaborate with the executive team to align operations with strategic goals
- Implement best practices and streamline processes to enhance efficiency and student satisfaction
Requirements:
- Extensive leadership experience in large, complex organisations, ideally within higher education or similarly regulated environments
- Strategic mindset combined with hands-on approach to problem-solving
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary, ranging from £150,000 to £200,000, dependent on experience
- Annual bonuses and long-term incentives
- 27 days of holiday, rising to 30 with continuous service
