Senior Configuration Manager

Line Up Aviation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Configuration Engineer to support our Configuration Manager on a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing product definitions and configuration management for minor projects or major parts of projects.
Key Responsibilities- Product Definition and Configuration Management: Manage product definitions for multiple product variants, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Engineering Change Process: Reflect engineering input into design definitions using Windchill, ensuring business process adherence and approbation controls.
- Configuration Document Updates: Provide draft updates to the project Configuration Manager ahead of review periods.
- Configuration Meetings: Prepare comprehensive data and provide timely updates to the project team and Configuration Manager.
- Design Definition Control: Ensure control of project design definitions across development, production, and in-service phases.
- Engineering Change Methodologies: Support project areas with applicable Engineering Change methodologies.
- Configuration Management Principles: Demonstrate high-level knowledge of Configuration Management principles and their application in a professional engineering environment.
- Quality and Order: Maintain a high concern for order and quality in all aspects of the role.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build rapport with stakeholders and promote the Configuration Management group through a supportive and proactive approach.
- IT Literacy: Possess a high degree of IT literacy to effectively perform the role.
Requirements: SC Security Clearance, UK eyes only due to project requirements.
