Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team at schools in Telford & Shrewsbury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for working with pupils and supporting their educational journey.

The ideal candidate will have experience or interest in supporting children with special educational needs, such as autism. You will need to demonstrate a fair attitude, apply rules consistently, and understand the subjects you support the children in.

You will be required to assist the children during lunchtime and develop supportive relationships with them. Our ideal candidate will have experience of working with children who have challenging behaviour, knowledge of strategies to engage pupils with specific needs, and flexibility with timetabling and daily routines.

A valid enhanced DBS check and subscription to the DBS Update Service are mandatory requirements. We offer FREE online safeguarding and Prevent Duty training to all our workers.

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
