Service Charge Accountant Opportunity

Nixon Caunce Associates is seeking a highly skilled Service Charge Accountant to join our team. As a Service Charge Accountant, you will play a crucial role in delivering robust financial information to our clients in the property sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of service charge accounts
  • Produce quarterly service charge variance reports
  • Service charge reconciliations and production of balancing charges to tenants
  • Upload Service charge budgets to the accounting software and raise quarterly invoices to occupiers
  • Quarterly meetings with property managers and surveyors to review service charge expenditure and forecast expenditure to year end
  • Work closely with Property managers to deliver the service charge
Requirements:
  • Previous experience of working within a similar role as a Service Charge Accountant
  • Previous experience within service charges
  • Proficient user of Excel and other Microsoft products
  • Must have excellent communication skills and good telephone manner
